FLOWER HOUR

60 minutes. 60 shorts. FLOWER HOUR is a psychedelic extravaganza created specifically to be shown to groups of people in a public setting. You are more than welcome to watch the whole thing alone, but the filmmakers wish to assure you that it is way more fun to watch with your pals. Please enjoy the fruits of our labor, as we have finally released it after 22 months of production.

You are welcome to download this film and make your own edits, or burn it to DVDs, or use it for other projects, even for profit. All that we ask is that you credit @lilyellowtags, and let us know about any great screenings you've had or been to.

You are also more than welcome to create your own FLOWER HOUR for your friends or other audiences. It would be nice if you mentioned that the original was created by @lilyellowtags, but so long as you don't claim to be the originator, we won't mind if you don't say who started it. This is the beginning of a new form of anti-copyright distribution, and we just want our communities to benefit in some way.

FLOWER HOUR: A Twitch Livestream with commentary

We streamed the film on Twitch after the release and talked about the making of process. Think of it as watching the movie with the DVD commentary except the commentary was created after the DVDs were released and we haven’t had time or energy to make a second release.

FLOWER (half) HOUR: Quarantine Edition is out now!

This early version was created for the Albuquerque DIY Media Grant and was released in April of 2020, about a year and a half before the final release.

As you can tell, the project was released about a month after the COVID pandemic began, and we put in strong messaging as per the guidelines of the grant.
